Valentine's Day or Gateway to hell?
The
immodest and obscene actions generally performed on the Valentine’s Day tarnish
the true Islamic values
and teachings. Those celebrating this day cross the limits of modesty and
decency; and indulge in committing such actions that bring about the wrath of Allah
عَزَّ وَجَلَّ in
this world and the hereafter. They openly disobey the commands of Allah عَزَّ
وَجَلَّ and his Beloved
Rasool صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ through obscene and shameless actions, that
too just to attain few moments of satisfaction of your nafs, just to satisfy your
carnal desires! Remember! The pleasure will end, but sin will remain in
your book of deed. Don't let these shameless and obscene practices of this day
ruin your life in both worlds. Follow the commands of Allah عَزَّ
وَجَلَّ and His Beloved
Rasool صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ, and lead a prosperous life in this world
and the hereafter. We have been commanded to protect our gazes and keep them
lowered, protect our private parts and stay miles away from obscenity and
shamelessness. These rulings are generally seen to be ignored on this day, and
unfortunately our Muslim youth is also seen following this obscene, shameless
and immodest
trend of celebrating Valentine's day through unlawful means and not only
destroy their afterlife, but also pollute the society through the curse of
their evil and obscene practices on the name of celebrating this shameless day.
Just
contemplate for a second that just to satisfy your carnal desires for few
moments, how severely you displease Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ and His Beloved Rasool صَلَّی
اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ! You risk facing the wrath of Allah عَزَّ
وَجَلَّ for the sake of your
carnal desires! Sharia strictly prohibits us from unlawful gazing! It strongly
prohibits us from having relationships with stranger women! It strongly
condemns ones shoulder coming in contact with a stranger woman, let alone
holding her hands! In a Hadith, for persuasion, it has even been said to the
extent that a metal nail piercing through one's head is better for him than
coming in contact with a stranger woman! Sharia strictly forbids consumption of
alcohol! Sharia stops us severely from adopting seclusion with a stranger woman!
Which
of the aforementioned sins are not committed on this day? People oppose the Islamic
teachings and rulings openly and daringly. Have some pity on your frail
bodies. Do not risk your afterlife for the sake of few moments of satisfying
your carnal desires. Abandon celebrating this obscene and shameless day, and
make a firm intention of refraining from all the sins that are committed on
this day throughout the year. By abandoning this day and evil practices, we
will draw ourselves closer to Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ, and lead an affluent and prosperous life in
this world and the hereafter through adopting abstinence, righteousness and
piety in our lives.
May Allah
عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
protect us from the curse and filth of all the evil practices practiced on this
obscene and immodest day and make us tread on the path that would please Him
and His Beloved Rasool صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ
وَسَلَّمَ.
اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ النَّبِیِّ الْاَمِیْن صَلَّی اللہ تَعَالٰی
عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلہٖ وَسَلَّم
